In late 1980-s and early 1990-s manhua dominated comic sphere in Indonesia with the titles such as Tiger Wong (Oriental Heroes) and many comics from Garuda Mas publishing company (Crazy Guy, Street Fighter etc). This book delves into the long history of manhua and the variation of genres that come with it.
