It is over 2 million ahead of X Factor (which traditionally would have been ahead). Doctor Who is actually 1.5 million short of the premiere, so it is not actually a massive drop since the series premiere. Here are some ratings for last night: DOCTOR WHO: 6.43m STRICTLY: 9.14m X FACTOR: 4.20m L DRUMMER GIRL: 5.11m INSIDE No 9: 0.73m BUTTERFLY: 2.45m ​ Chances that Inside No 9 are so low due to the little stunt they pulled. Would be interesting to see how this changes once the iPlayer ratings are in. The novelty wore off. They keep building up singers as the next coming of Christ only for them to fade into obscurity when the Xmas charts are but a memory.
